Privacy Policy
Last updated 14 March 2026. Issued under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia).
1. Who we are
Dynaquo Freightworks Sdn Bhd (SSM Registration No. 202301034587 / 1521478-M) is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and during the course of providing freight forwarding, customs brokerage and warehousing services. Our registered office is at Suite 22-03, Level 22, Menara Symphony, No. 5 Jalan Prof. Khoo Kay Kim, Seksyen 13, 46200 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
2. The information we collect
We collect personal information in three situations: when you submit an enquiry through the contact form, when we onboard you as a client, and when we receive shipping documents that name individuals. The data we typically hold includes:
- Contact identifiers such as your name, role, employer, telephone number and email address.
- Business identifiers such as company registration numbers and customs broker codes (where you provide them).
- Shipment information including consignor and consignee details, commercial values, weights and commodity descriptions.
- Website usage data through cookies, including IP address, browser type, pages visited and time on site — only where you have consented.
3. Why we use your information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, to deliver freight and brokerage services, to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations (including customs declarations and anti-money-laundering checks), to maintain accounting records, and to improve our website. We do not use personal data for automated decision-making with significant effects.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information with the carriers, customs authorities, warehouse operators and overseas agents needed to complete the shipment you have asked us to handle. We also share information with our accounting, IT and legal advisers where reasonably necessary. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. International transfers
Because freight forwarding is inherently cross-border, personal information will be transferred to jurisdictions outside Malaysia — for example to overseas customs offices or destination agents. Where such transfers occur, we make reasonable efforts to ensure the recipient applies a comparable standard of protection.
6. How long we keep it
We retain shipment documentation and related personal information for a minimum of seven years after the relevant calendar year, in line with the Customs Act and other applicable Malaysian record-keeping obligations. General contact enquiries are kept for up to two years from the date of last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
7. Your rights under the PDPA
You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate data, to withdraw consent for processing where consent was the basis for processing, and to limit our use of your data for direct marketing. Requests may be sent to [email protected]. We will respond within twenty-one calendar days.
8. Security
We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards proportionate to the sensitivity of the data we hold. Customs documentation is held in access-controlled folders, network traffic is encrypted in transit, and our warehouse management system enforces role-based access. No system is impervious, and we will notify affected individuals if a breach is reasonably likely to result in significant harm.
9. Changes to this policy
We review this policy at least annually and whenever our processing activities change materially. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acknowledgement of the revised policy.
10. How to contact us about privacy
Address privacy enquiries to our Data Protection Officer at [email protected] or by post to the registered office above. If your concern is not resolved, you may refer the matter to the Personal Data Protection Department of Malaysia.
